A studio that treats your menu as the site's most important page

MenuWebStudio builds and manages websites for chef-led restaurants, on one monthly fee, with the build fee charged only after the site is live.

The one-line read

A chef-led restaurant sells writing on a page before a guest ever tastes anything, so the website has to be typeset with the same discipline as the menu itself: hairline rules instead of decoration, real hierarchy instead of a template stretched to fit.

How we work

  1. 01

    One onboarding call

We fill any gaps in your onboarding form and agree a launch date.

  2. 02

    A build measured in days

Not months. Your menu is typeset as structured content from day one.

  3. 03

Revisions turned around in working days

A seasonal menu change is one request, not a redesign.

  4. 04

    Weekly articles after launch

Nobody at your restaurant logs in to fix anything; we run the site.

What we are not

We are not a restaurant, a chef for hire, or a food safety, health or licensing authority. We build and run the website. Everything your guests rely on your kitchen for, the food, the service, the room, stays entirely with you.

Who writes for the studio

Priya Ashworth

Menu Typography Lead, Portland, ME

Priya spent a decade setting cookbooks and restaurant menus before moving to the web, and still reads a homepage the way she reads a proof: line length first, adjectives second. She writes about how a chef-led site should be typeset, structured and paced so the menu reads the way the kitchen means it to. Outside work she collects letterpress ephemera from restaurants that closed decades ago.

Callum Reyes

Restaurant Growth Strategist, Asheville, NC

Callum worked front of house and then ran marketing for a small group of chef-driven restaurants before joining the studio to focus on what actually turns a page view into a seated table. He writes about reservations, search visibility and the handful of pages that carry most of a restaurant site's real traffic. He still checks a client's search rankings before he checks his own email.

Editorial personas writing for MenuWebStudio. They hold no professional licenses and nothing they write is advice for a specific kitchen.
